Have been practicing this task for two days now. I find it quite easy to make the light or dark 'elements' stay for about three to five seconds. It's a very interesting task, as it shows just how much our attention affects these things. I also find it is very good for helping me fall asleep fast!
Practiced on the Tinsel Task. I found the light and dark images to move about rather quickly and as soon as my attention focused on them they started to change. I thought it not easy to hold onto the shapes. After I started part 1 for about 3 or 4 days in the night i'd awakened with the strangest of feelings, it was more of a body sensation. It felt like someone or something had been near me in my room.
